Chief Bradley Jack:

Is serving his third term as Chief, representing the community  at the St'át'imc Chiefs Council at the Lillooet Tribal Council tables.  He oversees the Band’s involvement in Highways negotiations with Highway 40.  Bradley has been appointed to the St'át'imc Nation Hydro table as a community representative in negotiations of the Bands’ Grievances with BC Hydro.

Chief and Council

The term for Chief and Council is every two years.  The last election was just in October 2009.

Councilor Gerald Michel:

Lands-Forestry: e.g. Ainsworth Engineered Ltd, BC Timber Sales, and other areas.
Emergency Planning/Management: in various areas including Mountain Pine Beetle- Forest Fuel Management Plan
Fisheries: Northern St'át'imc Fisheries, Representative Joint Fisheries Technical Committee and other areas.

Councilor Susan James:

Portfolio includes Education, and Social Development; more information to follow

Councilor Harold James:

Portfolio includes Head Start Committee; more information to follow.

Councilor Ina Williams:

Is Bridge River Chief and Council’s newest addition, she is still exploring various options she would like to explore.  Ina is currently interested the Title and Rights of our people.  She currently sits on the Xwisten Housing Committee– assisting with Housing Matters.

Chief and Council Meetings/General Info:

 

 Chief and Council meetings are usually every 3rd Monday of the month.
