The Bridge River Multiplex hosts various different services for the Bridge River Band/Community members. The new building has the Health Center, the Day Care/Head Start, Gymnasium, and the Administration offices. |
|
The Administration offices is a multi-focus services provider. The office is a place where community members can drop in and use the Public Computer stations to create their resumes, or check email, apply for Social Assistance, Post Secondary schooling, Membership or Housing. The Band office also interested in Forestry, Fishing, Tourism, and other Short and Long Term employment opportunities.

The Health Center, is fully equipped with an examining room, visiting registered nurse, and private rooms for consultation. The Center hosts Immunization programs, Flu Clinics, and various other clinics and seminars for the community members. The Health Center also has a special room for more traditional health remedies. Or modern day wellness, such as Day Spa services including several massages, facials and body wraps; which is provided by the Water Day Spa. The Center also hosts a Holistic Practitioner, Cecelia Terry; in which she incorporates 7 specific therapies. These include Aromatherapy/European Lymphatic Massage, Chair Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Chakra Scan & Balance, and Emotional Release Techniques. |

Health Center |

Located 6 kilometers North of Lillooet on Moha Road. Traditional Fishing Rock and Pithouse Village Tours run from June to September. The Fishing Rocks tour is an interpretive trail hike along the rocks of the Fraser River. Pithouse Village is a visual experience, where the visitor will bear witness to over 80 pithouses, dated from 400 to 2000 years old as by the University of Montana. |

The Bridge River Head Start/Daycare programs are licensed (December 2008) to accept 8 children, aged 0 weeks to 12 years. The staff/child ratio is in keeping with the Provincial Community care facility Act. Our staff comprises of two full time individual. As both the Bridge River Daycare and Bridge River Head Start Programs will be operating at the same time. All daily Childcare activities are designed to enrich the academic experience of our children. The Daycare program supports and follows the six components of the Bridge River Head Start Program. |
